Hyderabad, April 26, 2026: In a remarkable display of discipline, unity, and martial arts excellence, 1,212 karate athletes achieved a Guinness World Records title at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, on 26th April 2026 Hyderabad, marking a historic moment for India’s sporting community.
The mega event was organized by the Jayanth Reddy International Taekwondo Academy in association with Vision Martial Arts Academy. Participants from nearly 10 states, including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, came together to take part in the large-scale synchronized performance, reflecting the growing popularity of martial arts across the country.
During the 11-minute performance, all participants executed a series of punches, kicks, and defensive movements in perfect synchronization. The precision and coordination displayed by over a thousand athletes performing simultaneously left the audience in awe. The feat required months of rigorous training, discipline, and teamwork, making the achievement even more significant.
The attempt was officially monitored by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, Swapnil, who assessed the performance under strict international guidelines. After careful evaluation, the record was confirmed, and the official certificate was presented to the organizers amid enthusiastic celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, the adjudicator praised the athletes for their exceptional coordination and focus. He noted that maintaining such a high level of synchronization among a large group for 11 minutes was a rare accomplishment and a testament to their dedication.
Grand Master M. Jayanth Reddy expressed immense pride in the achievement, stating that the success was the result of months of planning and continuous practice. He emphasized that the primary objective of the event was to promote martial arts among youth and encourage a disciplined and healthy lifestyle.
The event also saw the efforts of key organizers and instructors, including Master Vittal of Vision Martial Arts Academy, along with Suman Palle, Sridhar, Mohammed Pasha, and Gajender, who played vital roles in coordinating the program.
