Former Rajasthan Home Minister and Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria has launched a verbal attack on the Rajasthan Congress government. Kataria said that Rajasthan has come in number one in the rape of women. “Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot says that most rape cases are false, yet 13,500 cases of rape of minor girls have been registered this year. In the last three years, there has been a 36 per cent increase in rape cases in Rajasthan. Kataria said that cases of gang war are also increasing rapidly in the state. Today, small gangs are flourishing in every city in Rajasthan. He said that no criminal gang can be active under the protection of the police. The hallmark of this was seen during the recent murder of Raju Thehat in Sikar and the killing of the innocent father of a child.

Addressing the media at a press conference, Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria said that this Jan Akrosh Yatra is not only the anger of the BJP but the people of the entire Rajasthan against the Congress. Kataria said what could be more a failure of the Congress government than the chief minister calling his former deputy chief minister a traitor. But the stage is still being shared together. He said that a drama is being done on Congress platforms to show both Gehlot and Pilot together.

Gulabchand Kataria targeted the CM and said that the Gehlot government has completed 4 years. Now on December 17, the government will tell lies. Big advertisements will come. But Gehlot should tell a scheme that is worth Rs 25 crore and has been implemented for the people of the state. The scheme that has been completed, the state government is only doing the work of looting the accolades by making its name through the central schemes. He said that the state Congress government should stop describing the central government’s schemes as its own now. Kataria also levelled several allegations against the state government on issues of unemployment, farmers.
