New Delhi: An acid attack was hurled at a schoolgirl in Delhi. The incident took place around 7.30 am in Delhi’s Dwarka Mor area. The girl has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, where her health is stable. The accused boy already knew the girl. The girl, a class XII student, was on her way to school when the accused committed the crime.
Delhi Police said the girl was with her younger sister at the time of the incident. The victim has raised suspicion on two people she knows. One person has been detained by the police. The girls had reached some distance from the house when two masked bike-borne boys threw acid on the victim’s face and fled, the family said.
