Launched in 2014, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana is a national initiative aimed at achieving comprehensive financial inclusion for all households in India.
The plan aims to ensure universal access to banking services, providing at least one basic banking account per household, along with financial education, access to credit, insurance, and pension options.
