The discovery of 150,000 tonnes of water frost on Mars’ highest volcano

Scientists have discovered frost on Olympus Mons, Mars’ tallest volcano, suggesting an active, albeit sparse, water cycle on the planet. This frost, found 13.5 miles above the Martian surface, marks the first observation of frozen water near the equator of Mars.
