During a Bhagwat katha in a Kanpur village, a tragic incident occurred when a 14-year-old boy, who was portraying Goddess Kali, accidentally slashed the neck of an 11-year-old boy playing a demon. Unfortunately, the younger boy passed away due to the injuries.

This event took place during the katha organized by Subhash Saini’s family in Bambhiyapur village, where the enactment had been ongoing for several days. Despite being instructed to use a blunt trident for the act, the older boy used a knife as he couldn’t locate the suggested prop.
