Zoya Mirza creates history by becoming a lieutenant doctor in the Indian Army

Zoya Mirza, originally from Durg district, Chhattisgarh, created history by becoming a commissioned lieutenant doctor in the Indian Army after finishing her MBBS at AFMC. 

She accomplished this by successfully completing her MBBS at the Armed Forces Medical College in 2023-24, overcoming the college’s higher cut-off for girls compared to boys.

 Her story exemplifies resilience, determination, and a deep dedication to serving her country. She opened up about her challenges in an interview with TOI before beginning her duties in Jammu on Sunday.
