The controversy over DD News logo’s saffron color has divided opinions, with the opposition calling it ‘unethical’ and the BJP seeing it as a ‘homecoming’

The decision to change the color of the logo of Doordarshan News from red to orange has caused controversy, with the opposition criticizing it as unethical and potentially illegal. 

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee expressed surprise and disapproval at the new logo, calling it a form of saffronisation of the public broadcaster.
