Seven school children were killed in a road accident near Korar in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district. The auto driver was carrying eight children after school holiday when a truck hit him. The accident was so severe that the auto was blown away. According to the information, the children were studying in BSNN Digital Public School. The children are primary class students. Police and administration officials have reached the spot.
All the children are said to be between 5 and 8 years of age. In this, 2 children died on the spot, while 5 children died in Korr Hospital. The condition of the driver and a child is critical at the moment. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The bodies will be handed over to their families after post-mortem.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed grief over the death of seven school children in a collision between an auto and a truck at Korar Chilhati Chowk in Kanker. He tweeted that the news is very sad. All possible help is being provided by the Health Department. May God give courage to the family. The administration has been instructed to provide all possible help.
