An explosion took place inside a mosque built in police lines in Peshawar city of neighboring Pakistan. This is being described as a suicide attack. According to media reports, 29 policemen have been killed so far, 120 people have also been injured. The condition of 90 of them is said to be critical.

According to the information, after the attack, the Pakistan Army has surrounded the area. People say that the blast was so powerful that its sound was heard up to 2 kilometers away. After the blast, a plume of dust and smoke was seen far away.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, Geo News reported. People say that around 500 to 550 people were present in the mosque at the time of namaz. The suicide bomber was present in a line in the middle. It was not clear how he reached the police lines, because the gate pass has to be shown to get inside here. At the same time, the mosque has collapsed and it is believed that many people are buried under its debris.

Let us tell you that Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) Pakistan has a lot of dominance in the area and in the past, the same organization had also threatened to attack here. After the incident, some videos are present on social media. The injured can be seen being taken to the hospital.
